James' Senior Portrait Philosophy
	I believe that a senior portrait session is collaboration between you, your parents, and me. I like to create images that convey a sense of your personality, so I capture a wide range of expressions, from quiet to wide smiles. If you smile often you will have more smiling photos. If you don’t smile much, your photos will reflect that too. my style My style is heavily influenced by fashion and catalog photography, which I pursued prior to opening Studio Coburg. The images that I create are not really posed, I will give you direction, but not a lot of traditional portrait-style posing that you will see elsewhere. I also shoot as much as I can outdoors. I love natural lighting and the changing colors and textures of the plants and buildings around my studio. my studio and equipment I use one of the best Canon professional cameras (11 megapixels!) and a wide variety of professional lenses, from very wide angle to telephoto, to achieve the looks that you see in the galleries. While I shoot a great deal of my work outside, I do have a very nice studio where certain looks can be better created.
